High school stories
You definitely need to expand your friend circle before anything else. After getting out of the room, you try to search for Emma to see how she's doing. Maybe she's already made a few friends and, in that case, your job will get a little easier!
Finally, you see Emma with Ethan, the popular- looking tall guy with brown hair. Apparently, they're roommates! You're a little disappointed- Ethan would be a nice roommate to have.
"Sup, man?" you high-five Ethan. "Are you happy with your roommate?" you say a little more discreetly. "SO happy. Although she is a little messy... but that's okay." he adds as an afterthought.
"Let's go out and meet people, shall we?" you ask Ethan and Emma, and they agree heartily. If there's going to be one Prom King and Queen, it'll be them for sure...

The same night, while having dinner as a group in the cafeteria, you realize you've managed to get yourself into a clique. The group consists of Ethan, Emma, a guy called Zach who you have a faint memory of seeing earlier, Brittany, and Kate, as much as you hate it.
Ethan and Emma have hit it off from the start- everyone can see how close they're getting every minute. Clearly Emma turned out to be the extrovert you'd thought she would be.
Zach's a pretty weird guy, you notice. he keeps mostly to himself and plays Minecraft on his phone most of the time. That's okay, you think, but why not socialize like everyone else?
Brittany turns out to be the prettiest girl you've seen. She has long back hair and striking blue eyes, and as you two get talking, you realize she's the one you want as your girlfriend. you've never felt this way about a person before.
Kate is annoying and keeps badgering Emma throughout dinner. you are really irritated with her after what happened in the dorm, and you have a feeling the two of you aren't going to get along anytime soon.
After you finish dinner and go up to your room, it dawns upon you that school starts from tomorrow. You hurry back to your room and set things up for tomorrow going off to sleep. Today was a long, tiring day.
