Chris asked if you could let him know as soon as possible and preferably before the end of next week, in which, you said you would hopefully get back to him later this week.
Chris then mentions that the Carnival is going to be the weekend after the fraternity party. He said he had a few coupons for cheaper tickets if you, Trisha, or any other friends are interested.
You jumped at the chance and said you would definitely like to have those coupons.
Chris dug them out of his pocket and gave them to you. He said he would be volunteering at a food booth there if you do attend the Carnival.
You told him you would definitely drop by to see him.
