Strangely Forgotten

"...Adrian. You were young when you entered the military, but you were good. They called you 'The Serpentine' when the world first plunged into World War Three. Doctors aren't sure exactly what happened to you, but you were found in a plane wreck near enemy borders. We scooped you up and brought you here, where you've been for the past week, healing. No one's sure yet how to get your memories back. Outside this room waits your squad leader, parents and a girl who claims to be your cousin, but we haven't assured that claim quite yet. You get an uneasy feeling in your stomach. You have thousands of questions. World War Three? The Serpentine? Parents? Cousin? What in the world was happening? You were unsure you should believe anything at all. Who says any of it's actually true?
