And All Things Will End

You speak at length of the relationships that can be developed by others. You speak of the feeling that can be felt when you look upon someone you have a strong bond with, how it causes arrythmia in the heart and can cause you to become weak, how you would do anything for that person, how intoxicating it can be when you touch them.

These sound quite negative from a biological viewpoint.

Furthermore, love rarely works as easily as this. Infatuation, maybe, but true love is not an easy proposition. Most people may live their entire lives without feeling a real connection to another.

Even if one was to find a true, real, connection, it is still fleeting. How much of your life would you waste, pining endlessly for this? And how long would it last once you find it?

What if the other person was to expire? What if they no longer love you? Love is not eternal. The peace of nonexistence is.

The Child gurgles in its sleep. Your words have not affected it.
