And the anger of their Lord, The First, burned against them. They were reduced to ash in HIS presence, consumed by the eternal inferno. Their skin was melted from their flesh, and they were ripped from existence. You feel HIM smiling upon you, HIS fiery eyes boring into your brain.
At last, the anger gave out, and The First returned to the void from whence he came.
But Life cannot be extinguished by any flame. It delighted in the fire, for now the Earth was cleansed and it could begin anew. After eons, it crawled its way to the surface once more.
The First's burning anger at his failure was felt from the edge of Eternity on the Earth, but it only manifested itself as a pitiful orange reflection of what it once was; one that could be destroyed simply by pouring the Blood of the Earth atop it.
