Another Monday Morning

"You piece of shit. You asshole. Dirtbag. Why the fuck did you think I came becasue you thought I was attracted to you and the little I'm sick thing would lure me in to the trap." Tears well on her face but nothing is worse than the sting and shock from the slap. "What the hell did you slap me for you know it's obvious and a bit too coincidental that the day I'm sick you choose to come and tell me 'I've got other plans honey.'" It takes every muscle in your body not to slap her back and slam her into the ground. You're so frustrated you could scream but you don't because you're a gentleman. Mindy cools down and turns her head to your chest sobbing. "I'm sorry about the slap. You're right I guess I shouldn't have come, I guess I'll go back to work and..." "and what?" you ask quickly changing your tone from frustration to curiosity verging on the possibility of immediate anger. "Tell the boss that you're a complete asshole and lured me here to shower with you because otherwise you'd fire me and I had to do it. He'd believe it too." She lunges for the door with a grin on her face but you smack it off with equal force before she can even reach the doorknob. Bursting into tears she tries to claw at you and then a back kick but neither attempt is successful. You let her open the door and tell her to get the hell out and to keep quiet about everything. Between sobs she agrees and you go back to your shower but down in the kitchen she pours some water over her bra, messes up her hair, smears herself with some soap, and puts a few rips into her blouse. 2 hours later you get a call from your boss telling you you're fired. As you were a vice president of Corporate Finance at a major firm you're naturally screwed and will have to take a big paycut elsewhere. An hour later you get a call from Mindy's lawyer over a sexual harassment lawsuit. The evidence is in her favor. You lose and your fortune is handed over to Mindy. As this is San Francisco you'll be lucky if you get a one bedroom rancher near the expressway in Daly City. Life's a bitch and you wish you never had called in sick.
