Happy Face

You open the door, slowly, trying to stay as quiet as possible. The room is completely black, but you can hear someone , or rather something, moaning in pain in the dark. Lights come on suddenly. You scream, seeing a mutilated person in the middle of the room, a chain around its neck as if it were a rabid dog. The mutilated person is missing an arm and lips. It's mostly bald other than a few wispy strands. One eye is missing and it's clothed in torn rags that isn't doing much to preserve it's modesty. It's covered head to toe in burns and blisters; teeth litter the floor, and you realize it its teeth. You vomit due to the horrid site. "Help..me" moans the disgusting creature, tugging at the chain around its neck. You spot a key on the table right next to you. You're unsure if it's safe, but can you really just leave them there?
