Life of Insanity
THIS ROOM JUST SETS UP THE STORY. AFTER THIS ROOM, YOU CAN BEGIN TO ACTUALLY CHOOSE WHAT HAPPENS.
"It's all my fault. All of it. It's all my fault." The words pulse through your mind as you hold the knife in your hand staring at your bloodshot eyes and tear-streaked face in the mirror. "Should I end it all like this? Is this the way it's meant to be?" You whisper to yourself. Then you recall what had just happened. ~You had a huge argument with your boyfriend. After the argument, your ex-love told you to just take him home. You stomped out to your car and began to drive him home. Being furious, you kept driving faster and faster. Swerving between cars and running red lights. Your ex was yelling for you to stop. But you wouldn't listen. Rain started coming down lightly, but then picked up and was now pouring down. You came to an intersection at a speed well over one-hundred miles per hour. A car was just driving past your lane, there was no way it could've avoided you or you could've avoided it. The impact was huge. Your body shot forward into the steering wheel, glass shattering on your head, giving you small cuts on your cheeks. You were a bit dazed for a minute or two, but then you came back to your senses with a throbbing headache. Your ex wasn't so lucky. His head was in the passenger side window. Blood dripped down onto the door. No breath. No heartbeat. You jumped out of the car, tears building up in your eyes. The rain was coming down hard, but you could still see the effects of the crash. Your car and the victim's car were trashed. Totaled. Then, you noticed something about the victim's car. It belonged to your father. You raced over and tugged hard on the smashed door. It didn't open. You found a piece of your car that had broken off on the ground, so you picked it up and made an opening in the cracked window of your father's car. Peeking your head in, you saw your father. His head was on the steering wheel, bloody and turned so far to the side it had to be broken. There was no way he was alive. You pulled your head out and ran back into your car. You sped all the way home. Rain poured in the car all over you and your now deceased ex. When you arrived at your house, the only thought you could think of was suicide. A note saying what you did, and then suicide. You grabbed a knife out of the kitchen, and walked into your bedroom. You hastily wrote the note, and stood yourself in front of the mirror~"It was my fault!" You scream. You place the knife onto your wrist, push it deep into your skin, then slice through the vein. It's painful, but you force yourself to do the other wrist. Blood drips rapidly onto the floor. You collapse to your knees, crying loudly. Then, your head begins to throb. You grab your head and there is a big flash of light. At that second, you faint. A while later you wake up. You are lying on a small bed in a small dark room. Suddenly, a window emits a large amout of light. You look down at your wrists and see scars. "Am I dead?" You wonder out loud.
