Just Another Day

"Alright Amber, prepare to be slammed." You mutter to yourself while winding up your arm. You through your dodge ball as hard as you can and wait in anticipation to see if your aim was on target. Amber sees the ball coming and moves slightly to the right. She doesn’t move in time though and the ball nicks her shoulder. She winces at the force of the ball and sulks over to the sidelines. Although you’re proud of hitting her, you forgot to look where the ball went afterwards. You divert your attention back and realize that it’s heading straight toward your crush; who’s not looking. You watch in horror as the ball smacks him in the back and causes in to stumble.

Then the bell rings and people started to leave the gym. You see your crush with his friends starting to exit. You want to go apologize but you’re just not feeling that brave. You decide that it’s best not to talk to him with all his friends around. You’ll have to find a better time to talk. You jog over to grab your jacket and head back to Mr. Clark’s room to grab your stuff.
