Road Trip

You do your part in the house. That night you have a beautiful dinner with Fargo’s family, help Manuela do the dishes and sleep soundly in his guest bedroom.

The next morning Fargo comes outside to see you off.

“Hey boy, on behalf of my family and myself, thank you so much for a great night. It’s nice to see old fashioned values are still alive,” He sighs and looks off in the distance, “These parts ain’t what they used to be. It used to be that you could leave your front door unlocked and neighbors would help each other in times of need. Now, the whole county is overrun with tweakers trying to rob you for drug money or hurt your family somehow,”

Fargo looks back at you and hands you a piece of paper with his phone number and address on it.

“If you ever need anything or are in town and need a place to stay, don’t hesitate to give me a call,”
