If I Were To Love

You tell her no, that she deserves the pain that she has, from the pain she gave you. Her face drops more and tears start running down her face faster. She runs off and you feel a little bad but you are too angry to care. You look over to your family who are giving you looks of disappointment. You can't stay there any longer. You walk out of the restaurant and walk mindlessly, you find yourself at home. You need to go somewhere. You grab your stuff from the house, leave your family a note saying your going back, that you can't stay here any more. You buy the first plane ticket back for 5:00 pm tonight. You then call a cab and start walking to meet it at the end of your street. You see your cab coming around the corner as the church bells ring. You think, if there is a God, what would he do. The cab parks and motions for you to get in the back. You hesitate you don't know what to do. Maybe you were to harsh, if you don't forgive her, how are you any better than she was. The cab honks.
