A Tale of Two Choices

Edmund rushed downstairs to greet his parent's oldest friends, the Earl and Countess of Lincoln. "Richard, Jessica, how are you? Thank you for coming to my little soiree."

"Edmund, it is always a pleasure," replied the Countess. "I remember your tenth birthday, and how naughty you were then."

Edmund reddened remembering the unfortunate incident involving the Countess's dress, a gold fish and a tray of blancmange.

"No need to take on, my boy," said the Count of Lincoln. "We have a present for you..."
