In The Day
You never thought that you would see the day where you were at a barbecue restaurant and and not order meat, but here you are. You love your friend so you'll give anything a try at least once. The waitress writes down your two orders before turning around and walking back to the bar. You watched as the waitress got your waters, walking them back to you with a smile plastered on her face.
"Here you go," she smiled placing the two cups of water before us.
"Why do we have straws?" your friend asked as the waitress walked away.
"We always have straws?" you ask, your voice laced with confusion.
"They're not good for the environment," they said, "They don't ever fully decompose."
"Oh I didn't know."
