A Tale of Two Choices

Dorothea looked down and continued with her sewing. The room its self was silent, but from somewhere outside came a roar of anger or pain. Brenda ran from the room growling "Continue with your work, and no talking."

Dorothea's neighbour, a consumptive yet saintly girl named Jane Bagthrop, coughed and then whispered to Dorothea,
