Doorways
Josephus leads you out through another door. You make your way through the town by way of small cramped lanes and alley ways.
Soon you are standing at an archway that leads out of the town and into the forest.
"I must leave you here as my absence would soon be noticed," says Josephus. "Go through the trees and stay on a northward course. You will come to a small house and cannot mistake it for nobody else lives in these woods. Tell my sister Miriam that I have sent you and she'll know what to do."
You clasp Josephus on the shoulder and thank him profusely for his help.
"Do not thank me yet. You still have five miles of travel through the forest before you reach safety. I'll ask the gods to look out for you," replies Josephus.
As you start to go through the archway Josephus calls you back.
"Here, take this to show my sister, as proof that I have sent you." He gives you a small stone goddess figure.
You go through the archway.
