Out of Time

Before you can stop yourself, the white light blinds you, and suddenly you are back in the hospital. "I was just getting somewhere!" You shout in frustration, hoping someone will hear you, but nobody responds. You turn towards your lifeless body. You find a piece of paper laying on top of yourself. It reads, "A clue." You look around for the clue. You then notice for the first time that your cell phone is sticking out of your pocket. You grab it quickly and unlock it.

The telephone application lights up and you know your clue is in there. Once you open the app, the voicemail lights up again. You then open that up. At the top of the list are a couple of voicemails from Dean. You decide to take a listen to them.

The first one: "Hey, Mar, it's Dean. I know you have Natalie's birthday party tonight, but Roderick just called me. He's throwing a party tonight and it would really suck if you didn't at least stop by. I mean, don't you and Natalie spend every birthday together?" This was a voicemail, yet it sounded like a conversation. "When you get a chance, call me. Bye." The voicemail ends. I feel limp upon realizing that the words he said to me were the same ones I said at Natalie's birthday party. What type of control did Dean really have over me?
You notice the second voicemail but are also reminded that there are plenty of memories you could go to as well. Do you listen to the second voicemail or find Dean?
