Gold Rush Choose Your Own Adventure

The sun beating down on you as you want to get to California and you decided against taking the shortcut there, so you took another way. As you see other plants and other animals your sacred overheating, dust, mosquitoes, and fear of Indian attacks. As you are aware that there are things you need to take care of such as your bags, food, materials in case you need to build a structure that can keep you away from the night. You think to yourself, I need to get some water. You heel your horse and get off slowly. You start heading to a cactus because you remembered that the contained a lot of water as carefully as you can you take the knife from your bag and start slicing the cactus. You try taking the piece that you sliced off but you're more scared of the spike and as usual, you stabbed your finger on one of the thorns and blood dripped out. You started digging through my bag and also started drinking the water from the cactus that you pulled out. You wrapped your finger with a piece of cloth and after you hear something going through the bushes and then you took out your four shooter and wait.
You heard it again, a scary sound that once you knew what it was you say to yourself “ oh, that wasn’t that bad,” but this time whatever it is it’s scarier than anything you have seen before with all the different plants and animals that live here. All the native American attackers that can be after me in any way.
As you thought about all of this, you hopped back in into your carriage and started riding away.
