The Pirates Gold
Dirty Dandy Jim goes about the task of arming himself with cutlass, dirk and musketoon. Being the dandy that he is he also takes the time to comb and braid his beard.
Dirty Dandy sees the cabin boy from the corner of his eye.
"Hey, ye, you scurvy little scoundrel!" Dirty Dandy yells. "Quit throwing those knuckle bones. Ye've got stinkpots and grenados to prepare, ye worthless dunderhead!"
The cabin boy jumps up from his game and does as instructed.
"Cap'ain," says Dirty Dandy, "we're as ready as we're ever gonna be if that ship decides to attack."
The ship is still approaching at a fast clip and it doesn't look friendly. Captain John is thinking fast now, trying to determine the best course to take.
