The Pirates Gold

Captain John and his loyal crew decide to set out towards the island. Upon anchoring, Captain John and Dirty Dandy lower themselves off the ship in a smaller boat. The water is still very rough even so close to shore.

The water thrashes itself upon the small boat nearly toppling it over. Captain John and Dirty Dandy struggle as they try to keep from capsizing.

Just as the Island seems only moments away, a massive wave comes crashing onto the boat turnng it completely on its side. Captain John hangs on to one of the rope hooks and manages to stay onboard. Dirty Dandy, on the other hand, scrambles to find a rough surface to grab but is quickly thrown from his seat and into the unknown waters below.

As Captain John looks over the side of the boat, he can see no signs of where Dirty Dandy might be. The waters are still very rough. He takes a great risk of losing his only way back to the ship if he goes in after Dirty Dandy as the waters will surely destroy this boat if left unattended.

There is possibly an even greater risk if he continues to the island alone, leaving Dirty Dandy for dead. One never wants to travel to unknown lands alone. Besides, Dirty Dandy has been lke a brother to him since he can remember.
