Just an Ordinary Day in the Life of an Ordinary Girl

"Well, no worries. I have a map in here somewhere.
I'll just have to find it first," you add with a meaningful nod to the pile of junk on the backseat of your car.
"In the mean time, get in."
You start looking for your map of the area while the guy walks around the car and crawls up on the seat next to you. From the corner of your eye you watch the clumsy way in which he tries to put on his seatbelt and it somewhat confuses you. You should think all guys his age would be familiar with the inside of a car these days. But since you suddenly catch sight of the map you are looking for, you don't give it another thought.
"Found it!"

You spread the map over your stirring wheel. You skim the index for the name 'Elmer's Hollow', but it doesn't seem to be in the list. That's weird. You turn to the person next to you. "Are you sure it's somewhere around here? Or maybe it's called differently?"
The guy shakes his head. "No, I am certain of it." His accent and choice of words are still charming, though doubt has found its way to your mind.
"O-kay," you say, unsure of what to do now. After a brief moment you decide it's best to just start driving and look for signs or maybe someone who can show you the way.

As you start the engine you remember you don't even know the name of your passenger. "Ow, by the way, I'm Amber." You smile and put out your hand towards him. He hesitates for a moment, then takes your hand and plants a kiss on the back. He smiles his gorgeous smile: "Forgive me, miss Amber, for I have been so rude as to not properly introduce myself when we met. My name is Thomas of Wellsher."

Oh Amber, he is sooo wrapping you around his finger. You can't help but smile as you watch him old-fashionly kiss your hand. You are starting to feel a bit shy in the presence of this gentleman and you're afraid you'll find it very difficult to concentrate on the road.
