A Sherlock Holmes Case

You and Watson show up to Professor Presbury's home the next day, and try to convince the Professor that you made an appointment to see him. At the moment of meeting him, he seemed fine, and just like any other human being you have met. After the Professor allows you into his home, and you try to convince him of the fake appointment, he gets a bit furious, saying, "I do not recall ever making an appointment with either of you. If I had an appointment, my secretary, Mr. Bennett here, would have told me. Now, who are you two, and what do you want?"

You keep your composure, and reply to the angry old man, "Sir, I am sure you are mistaken, we are only here to speak about one of the many great lectures you have presented to the world. If we may only have a little bit of your time-"

He cuts you off with yelling, "I did not have any appointment scheduled today. You two must get out right now, or I will force you out." His face showed no sign of faltering or joking.

Watson looks at you, and his face is enough to convince you to leave the situation, although you would not have minded staying. You look to the professor, and apologize, "My sincerest apologies Professor, I'm sure we were just mistaken. Good day." You take Watson out to the front door, and only a few steps outside, you hear Mr. Bennett coming toward you, and consider stopping or waiting for him.
