Scan and Edit
"Lets see..." Caleb returned to the screen and selected the scan information of a hard cover book he had recently scanned.
"Hmm....lets try something different this time.." The boy muttered before noticing the 'species' tab.
"OH cool!" The boy responded excitedly as he scrolled down the list.
"Ohhh! This one!!" Caleb grinned as he clicked on Cebus capucinus. The only reason he knew the latin classification was because it was his favorite kind of animal and his brother had taught him.
Immediately, the book started to vibrate on the desk until suddenly transforming into a living breathing monkey.
Caleb gushed as he stared at the small primate.
"H-hi there mister mo-"
Suddenly the monkey jumped onto Caleb's head causing him to yell out.
Hearing a commotion going on, Craig quickly finished up and ran back to his room. Like a scene right out of Jumanji, there was a random monkey jumping around his room as Caleb awkwardly attempted to apprehend it.
"CALEB, WHAT DID I SAY???" Craig yelled before running over to assist.
"I'm sorry! I thought it would be friendly!!" Caleb cried as the monkey leaped over him from the bed onto the computer's keyboard.
Both brother's watched as the monkey began jumping up and down on the keys, causing unintended changes within the program.
"NO! GET OFF OF THERE!" Craig yelled as he ran over to shoo the monkey away.
Only a moment away from grabbing the rambunctious primate, both Craig and the monkey suddenly vanished simultaneously.
Caleb watched with bated breath as the monkey returned to it's book form and his brother seemingly disappeared into thin air.
Running over to the computer, Caleb lifted the book and placed it to the side.
The sixth grader could no longer make sense of what he was looking at on the computer screen. Everything was shuffled and out of place.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to the worried ten year old, Craig was actually looking on in complete panic.
