He look in more drawers only to find more useless junk, as in two year old newspapers. That was almost how long ago it was since his parents left him. In others he finds cigarettes lighters and cigars and pills. You get so angry at your parents seeing what they do with themselves, you break a window and a door. Later on you move out of the neighborhood and get a job. When you see that there is a well paying job you take it. The people that work there are extremely nice. They give Mark some clothes that don't have holes in them, a room in their house, a toothbrush, a bed, and bathroom. Mark is very grateful, especially for the room. A nice clean room, for once.
