A Renaissance Nightmare

“I think Noraa has the right idea, let’s park in the back. I would hate for this purple kush to get taken by the pigs,” you comment. “Fine, whatever,” Chuck says glaring at her brother. Noraa just shrugs. You pass a castle-themed RV with a moat, a pack of crazy looking elves, and a lot more knights just like the one at the entrance. Everything looks so cool! She drives for what seems like an eternity – you just want to get out and set up camp already. When she finally finds a spot, you notice that you’re surrounded by barbarians. A seven-foot-tall man wearing a bone necklace holds a club in one hand and a half-naked woman with wild hair in the other. The woman steps out of the man’s arms, takes a swig out of a leather flask, and stumbles towards the group. “Hey gweiss! Welcome to the Blunder Swercle!” she yells. The man follows behind and extends his free arm towards you, “Sorry, she’s been drinking all day. This is the Blunder Circle. We’ve been setting up camp here for twenty-five years. My name is Ianark. This is Olivulka.” Chuck and Noraa are getting out of the car and you introduce them as well. “Pleasure to meet you guys,” Ianark says, “Would you folks like some help setting up camp?” “That would be great,” you respond, since you know Chuck is useless when it comes to setting up tents, and Noraa might break something.
With Ianark’s help, you make up for any time stolen from Chuck getting lost and driving to the very back of the camp. The Sun is slowly fading away, when Ianark says, “We were gonna head back into the festival to catch the fireworks if you guys want to join.” “That sounds cool man,” Noraa says, “I’d like to check out the festival before we go tomorrow. See if they have anything new, and check out the stores.” “Nah,” says Chuck, “Let’s smoke some pot so we can get to partying!” At a distance you see people starting to pile into the campgrounds from the fair. It is clearly the end of the day for the festival grounds. At the same time, you are really curious about what the fair looks like on the inside, and you know that the fireworks are hardly visible from campgrounds due to all the trees. Plus, you wanted to buy a costume for tomorrow! But is it worth it to go into the fair for such a short amount of time?
