You are then taken into a room. Your head is shaven and stripped of all your clothes. Next, you are given a striped uniform that is two big for you and smells weird. Next you are taken to your block which is to hold 700 other people, yet there are about 1,200 people. It smells like death and everyone there looks skinnier than twigs.
At Auschwitz, any females, children, or elderly people were immediately executed. 80% of all people who arrived at Auschwitz did not make it past the first day, most often being executed in the gas chambers.
