A Harry Potter Adventure

The three of you find some comfortable seats near the fire. Hermione is the first to speak.

"Harry," she begins, "we didn't go to the feast because we were visiting Hagrid at his hut. Harry, he has a Phoenix!"

"If you could still call it that," interrupts Ron. "It is so sick that it hardly even resembles a Phoenix. Hagrid said that it can't even fly!"

"I feel bad for it being all caged up behind Hagrid's hut," Hermione continues. "Do you think Hagrid is the right person to be caring for such a magnificent animal, especially when it has fallen so ill?"

"Well," you reply, "Hagrid does know a lot about many different creatures. What I'm wondering is how did the Phoenix become sick? They are such strong birds so whatever made it sick must've been pretty powerful itself."

It seems that Ron and Hermione hadn't yet considered this. It is true that Phoenix's are very strong creatures. You have pretty much stumped Ron and Hermione with your last statement.

"I'm going to the library first thing in the morning," Hermione states. "Maybe I'll be able to research things that can make a Phoenix sick."

"Good idea," responds Ron. "And in the morning, I think I'll head back to Hagrid's hut to see if I can get anymore information from him about where the Phoenix came from."

Although interested in the health and info about the Phoenix, you decide that you have received all of the crucial information that you need as your eyelids begin to droop and you feel sleep quickly approaching.

"I'd love to stay and catch up on things," you say to your 2 best friends, "but I really need to get some sleep."
