Fired!

I knock on the door and wait for a couple of seconds. Sensing no reply, I knock again, this time a little harder. I then hear a muffled voice, which appeared to be coming from an enclosed space, call out, "Come in, please. I'll be there in a minute."

I quietly push the door open and enter a carpeted room with a mahogany desk at the far end. I sit in one of the chairs fronting the desk and glance around. The room appears to have a musty feel, despite the apple-flavored air freshener. Large unopened boxes line one side of the room while a set of large wall maps unevenly litter the opposite side. The sound of flushing water behind me, and the sudden opening of a door makes me realize the solution to my pressing immediate need.

"What can I do for you?" A bespectacled woman with long blond hair says, extending her hand. "I'm Maia, the assistant librarian."

"John," I say as I stand and take her hand and admire the voluptuous body confined in a long-sleeved white shirt over the usual black slacks. "I'm here for the job interview."

"Well," she proceeds, motioning me to take my seat. "We are short on workers. We usually only accept students from this university, but we are understaffed... and classes have already started, so...."

"Does that mean I'm hired?" I ask.

"Yes," she said smiling. "But you must remember that this is just temporary, maybe for six months."

"That would do just fine," I reply. "Say, can I use the toilet, I'm a bit ..."

"Right that way," she says. "Wait a sec..." she calls out. I am about to release a bladder-full of urine and cannot hold on any longer. On the other hand, I want to make a good first impression. What should I do?
