You awake the next morning, get dressed, and enter the castle foyer. You continue walking until you reach the Castle Gardens.
The gardens are certainly a sight to behold. Roses of every color imaginable decorate the edges of the perfectly geometric pathways. You take a seat on a bench and gently run your fingers over the velvety softness of a pastel flower. You pull out your worn copy of Here with the Breeze and start reading.
You aren't three pages in when you're interrupted.
"Princess?" You look up at the sound of your title and see none other than King Emmett standing before you.
"Your majesty," you stand abruptly, curtsying as propriety requires. Your book tumbles out of your lab to the ground.
King Emmett reaches down to get it before you can make a move.
"My apologies, milord," you scramble to make excuses as a blush rises to your cheeks. "It's mere pleasure reading. I haven't-"
"Please, milady," King Emmett puts a hand up to stop your rambling and hands your book back to you. You accept it meekly. "Here with the Breeze is a classic. Perhaps you'd like to discuss it over breakfast?"
