You awake the next morning, get dressed, and enter the castle foyer. You leave the castle and enter Main Square, walking through it until you reach West Square.
You approach the abandoned factory across the way tentatively. It's quiet in this part of the kingdom, and it makes you a little nervous. You glance over your shoulder more than once on your walk to the factory.
When you reach the building, you're a little surprised to discover that the door is locked by a rather complex mechanism that's been attached to the handle. Across the mechanism read the words "CARDINAL FIRE", whatever that means. There are four buttons underneath the text, each with an image sketched on it. One has a crab, one a set of weighing scales, one a ram, and one a goat.
