A noise wakes you up in the middle of the night. You're not sure what it was, but there's no denying that you're fully awake now. The moonlight spilling into your room is enough for you to see your surroundings, though it takes you it a minute to adjust. You sit up in your bed, turning up the gas lamp beside you.
You almost scream when you scene Dunstan sitting on your bed.
"Dunstan! What are you doing here?!" You instinctively pull your sheets up over your torso, even though your night gown covers everything. How dare he enter your home without your permission! "Did you break into my house?!"
"Well, yes-"

"Here me out, Carol!" Dunstan rises from your bed, his hands outstretched in surrender. "Please."
