*at 3:00 a.m.* (Setting: Living Room/Kathy is asleep on the couch)
Kathy: *gets up and looks at the fridge* What's this note?
Note: There's a pistol in my top left dresser drawer. Get it. I'll hold off the runners for as long as I can. Kathy, get Shawn in the car. The keys are already there. Get him to the Town Hall and the military will take him from there. Just do it quickly! I can only hold them off for so long... -Mommy
Kathy: What's a runner? Why do we need a gun? What does she mean by "the military will take him from there."? That doesn't matter right now. I just have to get Shawn to the Town Hall!
