You decide the best route you can take is the path. It will provide faster movement so you can get away before they start heading out looking for you.
You travel for about 20-30mins. down the dirt trail.
Then off in the distance you hear a motor of the truck. They are on their way out. They should start on foot from where you have started, at least that was supposed to be the rules. then you hear another sound........Roof,Roof,Grrrrr,
Oh no they have dogs, which will smell the trail you took. Now you really have to act fast. You look around and see a stream nearby to the right of the path perhaps the water will dampen the smell but you could always throw your shirt in a different direction to mislead them. But it is cold out this morning.
