Devils

You decide to run to the police, certainly they could find a way to stop this horror show, or inform someone... SOMETHING!

Never in your life had you ever seen ANYTHING like that-- it was as if the creature had crawled up from the deepest bowls of hell to come to earth and find some human to munch on.

You shivered wrapping your jacket around yourself as you wandered through the deserted streets. It was so quiet, no cars, no lights, no one but you and the corpse you left behind. It didn't make sense in your mind, but you weren't looking for a rational explanation, you were looking for someone to take this all away.

Finally you spot the police station and jog over to the doors. It's completely black inside the windows, but you weren't ready to give up. There had to be someone.

Putting the gun in your belt you pushed on the doors which opened without a fight. Stepping inside the darkened office you felt your hair standing on edge. There was someone wrong, it was too quiet...

"R-run..." A hoarse whisper sputtered from the darkness followed by a few sharp inhales of breath, and the sound of something dragging on the ground beside you.

Your eyes having become a little more adjusted in the darkness made out a shape moving slowly toward you... You felt your heart stop and your breath still, you were frozen in terror as the officer pulled himself toward you.

The scent of blood, stronger then before-- the harsh, unsteady breathing, it set your body on edge.

"R-r-run...aw-way..." He pleaded again, but it was too late.

The scent of rotting flesh invaded your senses as another figure appeared in the darkness holding onto the missing half of the officer, organs and muscle hanging from it's mouth as it glared at you with glowing white eyes.

With shaking hands you reached for your gun, only the monster was faster then you, taking a mighty swing at you, the force slamming you into a desk where another office was sitting dead.

You screamed it's face closer to yours as you lay there on the ground the monster hovering over you.

What do you do?
