"Permission denied Commander. Destroy the meteor and make sure to vaporize any large fragments."
"But the enemy will escape Captain! We can't let these warmongers attack again!" Fraglon replies.
Sternly you retort, "I was not aware we were to allow the death of millions of Freevians to pursue an enemy we have no knowledge of. We are here to protect the people of Freevus, not allow their capital city to be crushed into oblivion!"
A short pause."Aye Captain. Firing on the meteor."
You arrive back on the ships bridge to witness the ships many laser cannons clearing up some of the large meteor fragments that remain in orbit of Freevus. Over the sound of the fragments exploding you tell your security officer, Denzen, to scan for signs of the enemy aggressor.
"Captain the enemy ship was retreating but has since halted its escape and remains within range of our weaponry."
"Turn the ship around and head towards it. Mason, open a communications channel and attempt to hail the ship."
"Opening all channels Captain. Hailing .no response."
As the Pachyderm approaches the large enemy object you see it is strange indeed. A massive sphere with portholes all around, which seem to launch the meteors. You have never seen a ship like this before. Suddenly, the large object swings upward revealing a small black being with four arms, clad in dark green armor. It smiles with a massive toothy grin and squinting red eyes, seven of them. You can now clearly see that this creature is holding the end of a trigger. The large meteor spewing sphere is a gun this creature is using. You can't explain how this creature is alive, exposed in space or how its flying or even how it can wield such a massive weapon compared to it's small body.
"What the hell " Commander Fraglon mutters.
Cackling laughter is heard throughout the entire ship as the small black being aims his giant gun back down towards the Pachyderm and fires in quick succession three giant meteors from the portholes. They are closing in incredibly fast on your ship and you have little time to react. Decision time Captain Darkblade !
