The Encrypted Massacre Investigation
L puts on some latex gloves, and hands you a pair. "Put these on so you don't damage this evidence. Oddly enough, the killer left behind these strange notes." You put on the gloves. L pulls some smaller white envelopes out of the bottom of the manilla folder and lifted the flaps, revealing tattered looking pieces of paper with japanese hiragana written on them. Oddly, though, they appear to be written left to right, opposed to the traditional japanese form of writing up to down or right to left. Furthermore, spaces between groups of some hiragana indicated word structure. There were two notes. As youexamine them, you notice that the killer only uses 26 out of the 46 Hiragana in the Japanese alphabet.
