Time Traveller
In a matter of minutes, the attackers are under the walls.
"To glory!" shouts the leader of your forces as the charge begins.
"Hey, stranger!" the weaponsmaster shouts at you, "help me with this thing, will you? I can't get it to fire!"
You run and try to pull the string that will fire it, but it snaps off in your hand, and the weaponsmaster stares at it in anger.
"Well, this is your useless contraption!" He yells at you above thr roar of the battle. "Why don't you-"
He doesn't finish his sentence. An arrow has pierced his throat. In terror, you run, charging through the battle. You rush through and make it to the other side without a scratch, and scramble up the hill, and into the forest. You run to your machine, but as you get inside are overcome with a feeling of triumph.
