Aragon is a land of extreme natural contrasts, from the river valleys and snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees mountain range, to the fertile farmlands of the center, and through to the arid steppe plains of the south. Northern Aragon is home to the Formigal Ski Resort, the largest resort in Spain. It contains 90 ski runs of various difficulties over 137 kilometers (85 miles) of snowy slopes. Transporting skiers up to the top of the slopes are various lift mechanisms and conveyor belts. The resort also features eight restaurants, a skiing school, and two snow gardens.

You scan the frozen wasteland and see no signs of Carmen Sandiego or ACME CrimeNet.

You ask the few people you find if they have seen Carmen or the loot.

"I have not seen anyone who fits that description," says the ski instructor.

"Sorry, she has not been here," answers the coal miner.
