a day as someone else
You make a quick decision, and lean down to peck his cheek, when he rolled over, so that your lips touched his lips instead of his cheeks. You're surprised, and pull back, when you felt a hand lock around your arms, so that you couldn't move from your current position. Lucien mumbles something, before cracking an eye open, and seeing you, he gasps, and scoots away.
"Ah, I was...," you begin weakly, before trailing off at the look of surprise on his face. He stares at you for a moment, before returning to his place next to you.
"I was just, well, there was something on your face...," you try again meekly, but know that your words are obvious to his ears. You look away, embarrased, when his hand reached out, and stroked your cheek.
"S'okay, no damage," Lucien whispers, and leans in promptly to place a small kiss on your lips before pulling swiftly away.
"Breakfast?" he asks lightly, to which you nod eagerly at.
After you ate, you two set off, and had a debate of wheither to follow a small twisting, rather forlorn path down the forest, or follow the river they had found. You had firmly resolved to follow the river, but he had stated that the path would be quicker. You were getting nowhere, fast, since the two of you just stood there agruing.
You glance down the twisting path, and shiver, a sense of dread building in your stomach. You sweep your eyes to meet Lucien's and they're cold and set.
"The path, Diana, would be much swifter, I believe I took that path when we got here!"
"Yeah, coming from you, who got us lost in the first place!"
