a day as someone else

And so you do.

You look past his shoulder and see that the army is started to look smaller and smaller as he runs. Either he's the new Edward with super speed, or that army is a group of pansies.

The steady thumping of his feet against the concrete and his smooth, even breathes soothe you, and you rest your head heisantly against his chest. Your eyes start to droop and you slowly begin to dream....

"....ey"

You stir, and mumble something about crazy books and unconsious librarians, when a firm had shakes your shoulder,

"Hey"

You crack open an eyes and see him. For the first time you see him clearly. His hair was as black as the night, and his eyes were a stormy grey, and you felt yourself drawn to those eyes.....

His skin was a dark olive, and his body radiated strengh and confidence, but also security and rest of mind.

"Hey, so you're finally awake now, eh?" he murmurs softly, his voice was gentle. You nod in response, and got up from where you laying. You looked around, and you found yourself in a remote little forest that was as silent and cold as a cementary.

"Get up, we should get you home...," he says, and offers you a hand, in which you eagerly take. His hands were rough, but warm.

He starts to walk, his strides long and easy, and you stand there, in the middle of the forest, wondering if you should follow. When he abrubtly turns around to face you, his smile slightly sheepish.

"Uh...well," he begins, but quickly trails off. You tilt your head quizzingly, and reply simply,

"Yes?"
"Well....,"
"Just say it...um...,"
"I'm Lucien,"
"Ah, Lucien...I'm Diana. Well?"
"Well...I think...,"
"Spit it out already,"
"I think we're lost,"

You stare at him in disbelief. LOST!

"...Are you serious?"
"Yes, very,"

And you just continue to stare, thinking that coming with this guy might not have been such a great idea....Being lost in a forest where wolves, spiders, and bats live is just...just.....

As your mind starts to reel with fears that you had never experienced as a guy, Lucien coughed and looked shame-facedly at the sky.

"I'm sorry...Diana. I was finally freed and was told to protect you...but I've always had a horrible sense of direction...," he mumbles, glancing at you before sweeping his grey eyes back to the sky and the setting sun, "It's getting dark, while you were sleeping I scouted the place, and found a cave. We could spend the night there and then make our way tomorrow....,"

...A cave. He just asked you to stay in a cave. Where bats were. And snakes. Do you agree?
