Shadowgate

Upon entering the room, you embrace how it is very hovel. You feel strangely at home in here, the room is laid out with a lavish green carpet. Directly across from you five feet away is a comfy looking sofa. This room is also rather small, and rectangular. Nonetheless you feel as you could take this space as your own. Two braziers dance brightly with flame on either side of you, lighting the room divinely. A small fireplace remains unlit, yet the kindling inside radiate a cozy feeling. Multiple chairs dot the room; you could really throw a party in here. You take the opportunity to replace the nearly dead torch you are carrying with fresh fire from one of the braziers. Unsheathing a torch from your belt, you set it above the smoldering pot. It engulfs in a rush as you toss your old burnt out stick into the fireplace.

In the northwest corner of the room, a large iron door blockades a hole in the wall.

To your northeast corner, a darkened concrete stairwell leads up and away from this novel chamber.
