The Island of Destiny

The tiger approaches you closer and starts to sniff your clothing. You feel a cold sweat build up upon your forehead. You are scared stiff, it would probably be impossible to move even if this tiger didn't have its head two inches from your chest.

It then backs up a step and for a moment the terror ceases as it looks up into your face and says "Perhaps we can work something out."

You breath in deeply, and the tiger doesn't seem to mind your pause. "What do you mean 'work something out'?" you ask.

"I understand that you did not know these were my berries. This is fine. However, there is an AMAZING source of blue berries on the other side of this nearby hill. If you can cross the hill and come back with some for me, I will greatly reward you."

Intrigued, you ask "Reward me how?"

The tiger drops its jaw and forms an awkward sort of grin. At least that is what you suppose it must be...a tiger grin.

"I know how you have been placed on this island. I can tell you how I know this and also how you can go home."

Is this all true what the tiger is telling you? Perhaps you should press him further.

"If these blue berries are just over the next hill," you begin, with a sudden realization of the ominous qualities of this mission. "then why can't you just go get them?"

The tiger looks at you with a look you can't exactly decipher. "I suppose you'll have to find out when you get there."

You don't like that answer at all. Should you really trust this tiger or should you get yourself out of this crazy situation?
