Pandemic
"What is it?" you ask.
"Since I am risking my life for you by staying here, I figure you can give me, oh, I don't know, four hundred grand," he answers. "It's a small price to pay for survival."
"But I don't have it," you say.
"Then I'll take it from you," he growls and tackles you to the ground.
Three police officers step in to intervene, but the man grabs one of their pistols and presses it to your head. "I have this man hostage!" he screams. "Now I want 400 grand, or I will blow this fucker's brains out!"
You cry out as the barrel presses harder into your skull. "Take it easy!" says one of the police officers. "We'll get you the money!"
"You better get it quickly, because I hear this guy's infected," the man lies. "If I shoot him, everyone here will become infected."
"So will you," you manage to point out.
Suddenly, the man's face turns to horror as he believes your lie. "Oh, my God!" he screams. "Have mercy on me!"
He quickly releases you and the gun, crying out in agony. Realizing their opportunity, the police officers seize him and transport him out of the building, the man crying for mercy. That is when you notice the small piece of paper the man dropped. An airplane ticket!
