The Island of Destiny
Unsure of what lies in store for you, the three of you set out across the beach. You almost feel like smiling when you look at your newfound pirate buddies Rummy and Achilles, because there's just something about the scenario which feels so extremely outrageous to you. You stalk across the beach for about 45 minutes, and the entire time not a word passes between you three.
Finally, Rummy comes to a stop and grunts. Achilles returns his friend's grunt with one of his own, and then grabs a few shovels from his large backpack. He tosses one to you and you are startled by how heavy it is.
"Yarrgh," Rummy growls. "Get diggin an' help Achilles!"
Obeying his command, you get to work digging up this section of beach. You aren't sure exactly what to be searching for as you dig, but for some reason you just have this typical image of a buried treasure box. Perhaps you're not wrong about that.
You toil away, digging about five feet from Achilles. You really want to keep your distance from this big guy, but he keeps tossing his sand over in your direction and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot you can do about it. As you take a glance over at Rummy, you swear you see him snicker as you get dusted on the face with sand. Grumbling and brushing away sweat, you continue your laborious work.
Finally, it gets to the point in the day when the sun blares directly above you, and without any water you are feeling immensely drained. For some reason, you don't really feel like Achilles is having the same problem at all. But regardless, you know you're going to have to ask Rummy for a break soon. You take a glance over at him, and you find yourself becoming increasingly aggravated when you see he is doing nothing more than lying against a spare palm and spinning a couple of old rum bottles.
Wiping the sweat away again from your forehead, for what you swear is the thousandth time, you feel that now is the time you should say something. You can't expect Achilles to speak for you, he is digging away just fine. As you look at all you've dug up so far, you find it maddening and probably unlikely that you will even find anything.
Now you hear Rummy's voice "Urrgh, why are ya stoppin the dig?"
You glare at him and say:
