After proving yourself to have the stronger mind, you continue on and the voices have stopped. In fact the whole place feels a little less threatening. You finally you reach a dead end, or rather a collapsed tunnel. There are two open doors on either side of you though.
After a quick glance, the right one leads to a small storage room with nothing inside. The left one doesn't contain anything either, accept a small dagger on the floor. It looks like it saw battle as the blade is nearly completely blackened and the tip is broken. It looks like there was something etched on the blade, but now you can only make on the "n". You can keep it if you wish, but it counts as a backpack item. It's useless as a weapon.
There's an air of malevolence in the room, like something bad was here at one time, but left. You suppose it's possible that whatever it was is the thing behind the vandalism, but you doubt it since you get the impression it would've attacked you if it was still hanging around. There's no proof anyway.
Even if you didn't find out who or what the vandal was you've effectively "cleaned out" this place with the destruction of the ghostly figures. This should still make everyone feel a lot safer as it was always a source of worry.
