Legend

You figure the goblin will come in handy, so you tell him to help you track the elf, which he agrees to do.

The pair of you head deeper into the forest where you have to tell him to shut up and concentrate on tracking the elf. Luckily for you he's good at his job. He tells you that the elf in question knows that he's being followed and has apparently been doubling back to ambush you.

"Alright then, let's make camp here."
"What? Shouldn't we run in the opposite direction?"
"Of course not you cowardly wretch, he thinks we're not expecting him, so let's let him continue to think that. He'll probably attack at night while we pretend to be asleep. Now shut up and let's set down right here."

You and Bogrot make camp. Bogrot's keeps nervously looking around until you slap him on the head and tell him to stop lest the elf see him and think something's up. Lacking any other ideas on how to keep his mind off things he goes to get something to eat which results in some very unappetizing insects. However if you don't have any rations (or don't want to use any) of your own, you may eat these to prevent the loss of 3 stamina points

As the darkness comes you and Bogrot go to "sleep." You must lay there for hours with your eyes closed. There comes a point where you very nearly do drift into slumber, but then you hear the very faint sound of walking nearby. When he's within the vicinity, you spring into action, which surprises the hell out of the elf who had his sword drawn.

"BOGROT! COME ON!" you shout and then realize you'll be fighting the elf yourself, as your greenskin lackey has not only really fallen asleep, but is apparently a deep sleeper.
