Upon completion of the ritual, Azoth roars one last time and the whole room begins to shake. The blue crystal falls off the pedestal and breaks causing you to think that Azoth will materialize, but nothing happens. You've successfully banished him and all the tormented souls of this village he was using for his plan have been freed. Most notably your wife and son. You say a few parting words to them, hoping that they're listening from above.
You exit the room and are happy to find out that Olanvi is still alive.
"All the undead just fell. Is he really gone?" he asks.
"This place is clean." You say.
You, Olanvi and his friends that survived all exit the ruins and seal up the trapdoor hoping that nobody will go exploring down there again, even if Azoth is gone now. You bid goodbye to them all and hope that the One God will bless them all despite not being his followers before continuing on your way. You're ready to leave this place behind for good.
