Forest Dweller
FINAL BATTLE: STAGE 3- Fighting Love
---------------------------------------
Slowly the entity changes his form. As you look on in horror, Ayla appears before you.
"Adam? Are you okay?"
"I..." You search your mind for any possible explanation, but find none.
"Come back to the village, Adam. I'm in trouble." Is this an illusion? Or something far more sinister? Before you can decide, Ayla leaps at you, baring a black knife. Your mind is made up- this is not Ayla. The entity has completely copied her movements, though- her grace, her skill, even her good looks. Ayla is a difficult opponent- but now you have the forest on your side.
You put your sword up just in time, feeling both of your weapons collide. The impact is far more than anything you could ever imagine; the mere force of the knife knocks both you and the weapon back a few feet. Ayla attacks again, striking viciously to right side of you. You block once again with the sword, focusing your energy into it. This time the blade holds for an instant before the force washes over you again and you are forced off your feet, falling to the ground about ten feet to the left of where you had been standing. Black ribbons fly out from the sides of the blade, follow you and and add to the impact, pummeling you in the chest. Then Ayla is gone. There is a flash of light and suddenly countless Aylas surround you. This scenario sounds familiar... the ribbons have not stopped their rapid movements- you are still being whipped back and forth by the sharp, curving, metal lines of darkness. The ribbons aren't part of the blade, you realize. There are only a few moments left. All of the Aylas rush you and they look very, VERY real.
