Siege!
You request more troops be sent to your position and conscript every able bodied man in the surrounding areas. You order them to construct ladders and grappling hooks. The walls are over one hundred feet tall so these ladders are unwieldy and clumsy, some break when simply being transported. Overall though, the formation of a mass of troops and creation of ladders and grappling hooks takes only three days. The Church is pleased to see that you have mobilized so quickly. The men are armored with simple cloth armor and wicker shields so you know losses will be great, but why is this a bad thing? Those who die in the service of the Lord are guaranteed a permanent station in Paradise, so who wouldn't want such an honor? The men are ready to die and their faith is blind making them perfect instruments of God.
As for weapons, your choices are limited. The crusaders, fully armored in metal and chain along with masterwork shields and near perfectly crafted swords refuse to fight on the front line, saying that they will stay behind and enter once the primary defenses have been breached. This leaves you with the conscripts and volunteers who are armed with pitchforks, clubs, slings and occasionally homemade pikes and bows. Overall they are a sorry lot, but they number in the tens of thousands. You arrange them into closely knit ranks and prepare to charge the wall at dawn. You hope that God favors you this day.
