While you know what to expect, you're not sure if you still want to go down there. However you're no longer a weak sheep of the One True God anymore, but a servant of the Dark One, so perhaps you could strike a deal with the demon for personal gain, but if you choose to go you're familiar with the place and know something of what to expect that you will not suffer any darkness combat penalties when you enter the ruins. Also, since you're already encountered Azoth, you'll be ready to steel yourself against any mind tricks he may play on you, meaning you'll be able to automatically succeed in a MIND test against him. (This doesn't apply to combat)
