You land a haymaker square in Klint's face breaking his nose and sending him crashing into a table. A small cheer and some laughter come from the gawking onlookers.

You don't take any pleasure in this, you were trying to steer him in the right direction. You sigh and pick up his body and head over to Brenda's house,. You knock on the door for awhile before she answers and she's very surprised to see you or her husband.
"What happened? What's going on?" she questions
"I saw Klint at the tavern and I was trying to council him into spending time with you since "
"What?! What business is it of yours? Did it ever occur to you that maybe I don't want him around all the time?" Brenda interrupts.
Now you're just in a state of shock.
"But what about " you don't finish your sentence when all of a sudden you see ANOTHER man come out in his underwear!
"Hey Brenda what's oh shit a priest! Your husband! I'll see ya later!" the man exclaims and quickly runs by you.
At this point you don't know what to think.
"Thanks a lot for ruining my night! Sheesh, now I remember why I never took that much interest in you, always meddling in things that don't concern you. Do everyone a favor and go preach elsewhere and please by all means, take that useless lump with you!" Brenda shouts and slams the door in your face.
You prop Klint up against his door and leave him there in his unconscious state and leave. You once again shake your head at the events that have unfolded. Given the type of woman Brenda has become you start to actually feel sorrier for Klint! You wonder if the baby is even his.
Oh well, you tried your best, but sometimes no good deed goes unpunished and that would certainly be your experience tonight.
